/ — Cookies
Cookies, explained.
This site sets no cookies until you say yes. Here is every cookie it can set, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how to change your mind. Last updated July 2026.
/01 — The short version
No cookies until you choose.
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep, so it can recognise your device on a later visit. When you first arrive, a banner asks whether we may use analytics cookies. Nothing is stored, and nothing is sent to Google, until you click Accept — decline and this site sets no cookies at all.
Separately, moving between pages uses a small piece of session storage — a browser feature, not a cookie — that holds a single on/off flag and is wiped the moment you close the tab. It never leaves your device and needs no consent.
/02 — The cookies
Two cookies, only if you accept.
Accept the banner and Google Analytics sets the two cookies below to measure how the site is used. Both are first-party (set on siteshifted.com), hold no name or email, and are used only to count and improve — never to advertise to you.
- _ga — Analytics · Google. Tells one visitor's device apart from another, so visits aren't double-counted. Lasts 2 years.
- _ga_Q77T3QB5FF — Analytics · Google. Keeps a single visit's analytics session together (the suffix is this site's Google Analytics measurement ID). Lasts 2 years.
If you decline, neither cookie is created and Google Analytics is never loaded.
/03 — Your choice
Change it whenever you like.
Your decision is stored on your own device, so you're only asked once. To review or change it at any time, reopen the banner here: .
You can also clear cookies directly in your browser's settings (look under Privacy on any browser), or install Google's official Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to block Google Analytics on every site you visit.
/04 — Analytics & transfers
Where the analytics data goes.
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited (with Google LLC in the United States). Google acts as our data processor and handles the data on our instructions. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store your IP address — it is used only to infer approximate location, then discarded.
Because Google operates globally, data may be transferred to servers outside the EU, including the United States, under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and Google's additional safeguards. For detail, see Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
/05 — Who's responsible
Questions, or a change of heart.
SiteShifted, established in the European Union, is the data controller for this site and can be reached at hello@siteshifted.com. Under the GDPR you can withdraw consent at any time and, if something's wrong, complain to your national data protection authority.
This Cookie Policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers everything else — the contact form and email. If our use of cookies changes, this page updates first, with a new date at the top.
