/ — Privacy

Privacy, plainly.

Plain English: what this site collects, the cookies it sets only if you accept, how your data is used, and how to see or delete it — including your rights under the GDPR. Last updated July 2026.

/01 — What we collect

What you send — plus analytics, if you allow it.

Two things reach us directly, both started by you. A third — anonymous usage analytics — runs only if you accept the cookie banner.

  • The contact form — your name, email, business name, budget range, message, optional website URL, the page you sent it from, and your IP address (used only to filter spam).
  • Email — whatever you write to hello@siteshifted.com.
  • Analytics (only if you accept) — Google Analytics records anonymous usage: which pages you view, roughly where you are (country and city, inferred from your IP, which Google does not store), your device and browser, and how you arrived. It never receives your name or email, and stays off until you opt in.

/02 — How it's used

To reply to you. That's it.

Form submissions arrive in our inbox and are used to answer your inquiry and, if you become a client, to run your project. We don't sell, rent, or share your details with anyone, and we don't add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for.

Messages are kept as ordinary email correspondence for as long as they're useful to the work, then deleted. If you'd like your data removed sooner, email us and it's gone — we'll confirm within one business day.

Analytics data, if you allow it, is only ever read in aggregate — to see which pages help people — never to identify you or to advertise to you.

/03 — Cookies & analytics

Cookies, only with your yes.

This site sets no cookies until you accept the banner. Accept, and Google Analytics sets two cookies to measure usage; decline, and none are set. The full detail — cookie names, how long they last, and how to change your mind — lives in the Cookie Policy.

/04 — Third parties

The short list.

A few services are involved in delivering this site, and each sees only what it needs:

  • Hosting & email delivery — serves the pages and relays form submissions to our inbox; standard server logs apply.
  • Fonts & core scripts — served from this domain, not third-party CDNs, so no outside provider sees your visit to load them.
  • Google Analytics (only if you accept) — Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC processes anonymous usage statistics for us; data may be transferred to servers in the US under Google's Standard Contractual Clauses. Nothing is sent until you opt in. See Google's privacy policy.

/05 — Your rights

Ask, and we'll answer.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — no forms, no friction. Write to hello@siteshifted.com and you'll hear back within one business day.

If you're in the EU or UK, the GDPR also gives you the right to restrict or object to how your data is used, to withdraw analytics consent at any time, and to receive your data in a portable form — plus the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

SiteShifted (hello@siteshifted.com) is the data controller for this site. We rely on your consent for analytics, and on legitimate interest — plus, once you're a client, our contract with you — to receive and answer contact-form messages. We don't use your data for automated decisions or profiling.

If we change what's collected or add another tool, this page updates first — with a new date at the top.
